Located near DePue, this through girder bridge crosses the former Rock Island, now Iowa Interstate.
Built in 1907, the bridge consists of two through girders and a concrete arch. The bridge sits on concrete and steel substructures. However, the girders appear to have a missing post-1910 American Bridge Company plaque.
It is possible that the southern through girder was built later or, that the original span was replaced. However, the southern span appears to be different and may date to approximately 1910.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, despite being abandoned for many years.
The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
